"Jest wiele tematów, które staram się poruszyć w moich pracach, a może które mnie poruszają. Śmierć, depresja, wojna, problemy ludzi ubogich i bezdomnych, uzależnienia, narcyzm, brak empatii.
Czuję jednak, że czynnikiem wiążącym wszystkie te problemy czy historie jest cierpienie, cząstka nadziei i próba przypomnienia, że życie potrafi być strasznie okrutne.
Chcę pokazać, że „nasze" problemy nie są wielkie, a w sumie to nie istnieją w porównaniu do wyżej wymienionych tragedii, że warto docenić swoje życie, nasz czas czy zwykłe chwile. Kładę nacisk na zrozumienie i empatię, nie podoba mi się słowo nacisk, ale nie wiem jak je zastąpić. Wierzę, że empatia to jedna z najważniejszych i bardzo niedocenianych cech.
Nie łudzę się, że zbawię świat, ale może moje prace i prace innych osób niekoniecznie w świecie sztuki pomogą coś naprawić.
Bardzo ważne dla mnie jest to, że staram się we wszystkich pracach zawrzeć jakąś część nadziei, bo bardzo wierzę w to, że będzie „lepiej" nawet po największych tragediach, może za życia a może po śmierci. Nie chcę być za bardzo wzniosły, po prostu tak czuję i nie wiem jak to ubrać w słowa." - Igor Dobrowolski.

"In my work there are many topics that I try to move, such as death, depression, war children, the problems of the poor and homeless, addiction, narcissism, lack of empathy.
However, the binding agent that combines all of these problems or stories is suffering, particle of hope and attempt reminder that life can be terrible, cruel and thereby show that our “problems” are not so great, and all in all it almost does not exist in comparison to the aforementioned tragedy and thus can appreciate your life, our time, or ordinary moments, and the emphasis on understanding empathy, pressure empathy.
I do not like the word pressure but do not know how to replace it. I believe that empathy is one of the most important and yet not appreciated feature. I do not deceive myself with the salvation of the world, but maybe my work and the work of others, not necessarily in the art world, will help fix something. I hope that my work is such a minimal part of something good. For me, the try in all work to conclude a part of hope is very important, because I really believe it’s going to be “better” even after the greatest tragedies, perhaps for life or maybe death.
